Cadbury Creme Egg Celebrates 50th Birthday with Golden Goobilee Campaign
Everyone’s favourite Cadbury Creme Egg is back on shelves for a limited time only – and it’s turning 50!
Mondelez’ Cadbury Creme Egg brand is celebrating its 50th birthday with a ‘Creme Egg Golden Goobilee’ campaign, developed in partnership with creative agency Elvis.
The through-the-line campaign celebrates all the different types of Creme Egg eaters out there and encourages everyone to join in the ‘EATertainment’, with a focus on 16 – 34-year-olds.
The OOH campaign encompasses poster and digital 6s nationwide across roadside and retail points at supermarkets and convenience stores, with formats including Bus Shelters, Adboxes and Digitowers.
To mark the momentous milestone, customers will have the chance to find a Golden Creme Egg in stores across Ireland and win cash prizes.
The limited-edition golden eggs are in stores disguised as the much-loved classic Cadbury Creme Egg for chocolate-lovers to find. The winning eggs have been given a golden revamp with the delicious Cadbury chocolate shell covered in edible gold dust.
The delicious Golden Creme Eggs will be hidden in stores across the country, and the lucky people who reveal the exclusive eggs will win a cash prize of up to €5,000!
Cadbury revealed the nation’s favourite chocolate egg is sold every 4 seconds in Ireland and are only available from St. Stephen’s Day to Easter.
